What is a Schengen visa?
A Schengen visa, also known as a Europe visa, within the 26 participating Schengen Area countries. This means Europe travellers will not be subject to border checks at internal Schengen borders. Border checks remain in place for travellers crossing external borders, however. These are the borders between Schengen and non-Schengen states.
How long will it take to process my application?
The minimum visa processing time is depending on the nationality of the applicant, provided that a complete visa application is submitted. However, if the Consulate/embassy would like to see additional documents, see you for a personal interview or require additional time to review the application then the process can take longer. If this is the case, then you will be informed via your assigned agent.
Will my fees be refunded if my visa is refused?
All fees and applicable service charges are non-refundable even in the unfortunate event your visa application is not successful.
Will any documents be returned with my application?
No documents will be returned with the passport. Photocopies are recommended as documents will not be returned. Submit originals only where specified. We regret that we are not able to accept incomplete applications. Therefore, please ensure that you provide all of the required documents.
If I want to visit one of the countries in the Schengen territory, at which Embassy do I apply for a visa?
Schengen visa has to be obtained from the Embassy/Consulate of the country where the main purpose of travel lies. In case of travel to multiple Schengen countries, please make your application to the Embassy/Consulate where you will be staying for the maximum number of days. If the duration of stay is the same in more than one Schengen country, please submit your application from the point of first entry. If you are unsure of where to lodge the application your assigned agent will be able to guide you on this.
